ABOUT NICHOLAS GIORDANO

Nick Giordano is a painter based in the rural desert town of Pahrump, Nevada. Trained in Zen, Daoism, and martial arts, his studio practice explores the intersection of movement and paint as a pathway to progressive individual and collective transformation. Influenced by Eastern and Western philosophy and the mind’s capacity to rewrite dysfunctional habits, Nick’s work investigates healing, growth, and collective fulfillment through collaborative art-making.

In addition to his studio practice, Nick is deeply committed to arts-based community engagement. He serves as the Community Arts Outreach Coordinator for ACCNV and has collaborated closely with Alden Crowley, founder of Another Joy Foundation, for over a decade. He is also actively involved with Life By Music, a Las Vegas nonprofit dedicated to empowering youth through music. Over the years, Nick has launched and led multiple arts outreach programs in partnership with these three organizations. He is currently spearheading a large-scale volunteer mural project at the Nye County Animal Shelter in Pahrump. In addition to his studio practice, Nick is the owner and operator of Higher Ground Tattoo, which has been successfully operating since 2017 in Las Vegas, NV. With over 10 years of experience as a professional tattoo artist, he recently added a second studio and Art Gallery in Pahrump, NV.
